About

This blog is run by me, a student at York University, in an attempt to create a far more accessible look at archaeology as I also grow and learn in my chosen discipline. That’s why I have a dictionary for common words in archaeology that are actually are completely opaque to those without any experience within the field, or those that are used in a significantly different way in archaeology such as feature, context or even how an ‘archaeological’ photograph is different from a regular photograph.
